This cigar is a great choice for the novice smoker. This is one of our smoothest and light to medium cigar.

The pre-light features of the Gurkha Status include the light tan color of the Connecticut Shade wrapper, the cigar's firm feel and a very mild aroma. The cigar is big and impressive featuring a large Gurkha Status band. The first couple of inches of the cigar feature mild pepper, citrus and floral flavors. The cigar then becomes more creamy with much of the spiciness disappearing. During the last third the pepper spice returns even stronger. Throughout the entire cigar the citrus and floral flavors are predominant. I consider this cigar to be mild to medium bodied. The cigar burns even, produces a good deal of smoke and provides a pleasant 1 ½ hour smoking experience.- Fumee Featured Reviewer Steve
