Featuring an 8 year old wrapper combined with 5 year old fillers and binders. The shaggy foot allows you to smoke some of the filler without the wrapper, enabling you to taste the difference that a cigar wrapper makes. This is a medium bodied smoke.

Gurkha makes so many cigar brands that I have a hard time telling them apart, but not the Gurkha Shaggy. This is due to the unfinished foot on this cigar where the binder and filler stick out from the wrapper. Initially, I thought that this would hurt an even burn, but to my surprise it did not, my burn was as straight as can be from start to finish. The Shaggy’s flavors really pick up when the wrapper starts to burn, prior to that, the flavors are more mild and mellow, once the wrapper comes onto the scene there is a nice spice flavor, not pepper that is harsh when expelling the smoke through the nose, but rather a nice all spice flavor. The Shaggy was a medium bodied cigar that stayed consistent throughout, and is one of my favorite Gurkha cigars.-Fumée featured reviewer Brent
