In 2001 Alan Rubin was shown a wrapper leaf on the Honduran/Nicaraguan border that was not intended for commercial use. He thought the wrapper was something special, and worked closely with the farmer to purchase the best wrapper from every harvest. This cigar was a long time in the making, hence the name, Tempus, which means "time" in latin. The results are an aged tobacco that is full bodied and smooth.
